We have developed a certification program for prospective mat
and apparatus instructors in order to meet the increasing
demand for instructors in southern Maryland.
Most of the available Instructor training programs are expensive, with many exceeding two thousand
dollars per program. While many of these certification programs are reputable, some are high-priced
programs producing mediocre instructors in a weekend training course.
FLEXIBLE HOURS
Our certification program offers flexible hours and is the only program with convenient locations for
individuals living in southern Maryland.
QUALITY INSTRUCTION
Our program is aligned with the standards set forth by the Pilates Method Alliance.
COMMITTMENT TO EXCELLENCE
We require that individuals be motivated to learn and committed to taking the time necessary to
master the technique. This type of self-paced learning is not for everyone, nor are we interested in
accepting “just anyone” into the program.
COURSE FORMAT
The required coursework includes a combination of accumulated lecture, observation, personal
Pilates practice, lessons, workouts and supervised student teaching hours.
